The new CTO will assume the position of overall technology leader and will ensure technological growth with a high focus on scalability of our platforms. As a startup ready to scale we are looking for a CTO with a hands-on, practical and strong manager, who is not scared to get involved in fixing code and actual technical problems by yourself.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and make architectural decisions to ensure strong, stable, and scalable software products
- Partner with our CEO to define, prioritize and realize product roadmap
- Managing in-house software development team, contracted development partners, and head the integrations of partner API's to our platform
- Driving performance, motivation and effectiveness of the software development team
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Requirements
must haves …
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Significant experience in cloud software architecture and personally building digital products from early-stage through to scaling and maturity
- Deep knowledge of full-stack modern development practices (ex: DevOps, APIs)
- You have a good sense for leadership (Must)
Nice to haves …
- Experience in project management to ensure timely deliverables
- You have the right interpersonal skills to share/collaborate with peers
- You have the skills to mentor and inspire a small software development team, providing architectural guidance, code reviews, etc.
- CRM SaaS product experience
- Based in Belgium
